As part of its Ongoing Commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CRS), Bymart Zambia has donated more than 200 heavy-duty wheel waste bins to the Government of Zambia, with the goal of supporting improved waste management in Lusaka’s Central Business District (CBD).

The donation was officially received by Her Worship, the Mayor of Lusaka, Madam Chilando Chitangala, on behalf of the Lusaka City Council (LCC). The bins are expected to play a vital role in enhancing the efficiency and reach of waste collection services within the city.

"This generous contribution from Bymart demonstrates the positive impact that partnerships between the private sector and local government can have on our city," said Mayor Chitangala during the handover ceremony. "Maintaining a clean and healthy environment in Lusaka is a shared responsibility, and we welcome Bymart’s support in helping us move toward that goal."

The initiative aligns with Bymart Zambia’s broader vision of not only providing quality products through its eCommerce platform but also investing in the wellbeing of the communities it serves.
